3. Banks Invest Your Money

A lot of people will opt for the safer route of investing into bank CDs. However there is a reason banks can afford to give you a return on your money, it is not because they like you and want to give you some free money.

Banks take the money that is invested into them and invest it into things such as the stock market to make a larger return on the money. In short they pay you interest using some of the profits they made by investing your money. Why not cut the middle man out and invest in stocks yourself?
